Gong Machine are a trio from Veneto ,Italy, made up of multi-instrumentalist and singer Davide Rastapax, keyboardist and videomaker Denny Z and Triplax Vermifrux computer programming and lyrics writer.
The project despite being linked to a meticulous sound research, both in the English and Italian lyrics and in the arrangements, the melody and the instrumentation used, ranges completely freely between a mix of sinth pop, rock, reggae, dub and psychedelia, leaving only to their free imagination to delimit the boundaries.
Davide Rastapax also member of Mens Rea and Denny Z and Triplax members of Barafoetida, wanted to pay homage to the Gong and Soft Machine bands by choosing the name Gong Machine in relation to the free musical research without restrictions typical of the aforementioned bands.
Currently three singles with related videos have been released: The intro-like track'' La la la'', the Franco Battiato's cover '' Prospettiva Nevski' sung by the excellent Daisy Curina and the cover ''Monster Mash'' by the American singer Bobby Pickett.
This last song will be part of their first album which is in the works and which will be released in a few months.

I Gong Machine sono un trio veneto composto dal polistrumentista e cantante Davide Rastapax, il tastierista e videomaker Denny Z e Triplax Vermifrux computer programming e scrittore dei testi.
Il progetto pur essendo legato ad una meticolosa ricerca sonora, sia nei testi in inglese e italiano che negli arrangiamenti, la melodia e la strumentazione usata, spazia del tutto liberamente tra un mix di sinth pop, rock, reggae, dub e psichedelia, lasciando solo alla loro libera fantasia delimitarne i confini.
Davide Rastapax membro anche dei Mens Rea e Denny Z e Triplax membri dei Barafoetida hanno voluto omaggiare le band dei Gong e dei Soft Machine scegliendo il nome Gong Machine in relazione alla libera ricerca musicale senza restrizioni alcune tipiche delle suddette band.
Attualmente sono usciti tre singoli con relativi video: l'inedita ''La la la'', la cover di Franco Battiato ''Prospettiva Nevski'' cantata dall'ottima Daisy Curina e la cover ''Monster Mash'' del cantante americano Bobby Pickett.
Quest'ultimo brano farà parte del loro primo album che è in lavorazione e che uscirà fra alcuni mesi.
