You Know I’m Much Older Than You – is a documentary film dedicated to Maurizio Arcieri and Cristina Moser, worldwide known as “Krisma”.
Their international success is not only proven by collaborations with artists of the likes of Vangelis, Hans Zimmer and Franco Battiato, but also by their experimentations in the audiovisual field, with programmes like Sat Sat and Krisma Tv.
The aim of the film is to travel through again the life of Maurizio Arcieri: from his childhood and youth – before the success with the NEW DADA – to the solo career, the encounter with Cristina, and the beginning of their beautiful love story.
It is a true adventure in the Italian musical panorama from the 60s to today, in which Maurizio Arcieri - between excesses and successes – has been and will always be an esteemed innovator.
Maurizio and Cristina are in fact much more than simple characters: they were actual mentors during the development and realization of the whole film, whose narrative style and language have a lot to do with the duo’s lifestyle and personality.
The director Davide Lomonte, along with Nicolò Mariani and Lisa Valcarenghi, followed Maurizio and Cristina throughout the year 2014. We were fortunate enough to create a friendship that overcame work formalities, which made them want this project to succeed even more.
There have been several obstacles through the path, especially the loss of Maurizio, who had always demonstrated to believe in this documentary, investing a great amount of energies in it and hoping to see it concluded.
You have the chance to help us complete what we have started and have been doing for the last two years, and pay homage to a great pioneer, whose story deserves to be told.

You Know I'm Much Older Than You - è un film documentario dedicato a Maurizio Arcieri e Cristina Moser, conosciuti in tutto il mondo come Krisma, storico duo il cui successo internazionale vanta collaborazioni con artisti del calibro di Vangelis, Hans Zimmer e Franco Battiato, nonché sperimentazioni nell’audiovisivo con programmi quali Sat Sat e Krisma Tv.
Il film vuole ripercorrere la vita e le vicende di Maurizio Arcieri: la sua infanzia e giovinezza - ancor prima del successo con i New Dada - la carriera solista, l'incontro con Cristina e l’inizio della loro grande storia d'amore.
Un'avventura nel panorama musicale italiano dagli anni '60 fino ad oggi, all’interno del quale Maurizio Arcieri, tra eccessi e successi, è stato e rimarrà sempre uno stimato innovatore.
Molto più che semplici personaggi, Maurizio e Cristina rappresentano una figura guida nello sviluppo e nella realizzazione di questo film, che deve molto del suo stile narrativo e del suo linguaggio allo stile di vita e alle personalità dei due musicisti.
Il regista Davide Lomonte, accompagnato da Nicolò Mariani e Lisa Valcarenghi, ha seguito il duo per tutto il 2014, arrivando ad instaurare con Maurizio e Cristina un rapporto che va al di là delle formalità di lavoro, e che spinge ancora di più a voler vedere realizzato questo progetto.
Gli ostacoli incontrati lungo il percorso sono stati molteplici, primo fra tutti la scomparsa di Maurizio, il quale aveva dimostrato fin da subito di credere in questo documentario, investendovi una quantità incredibile di energie, nella speranza di vederlo concluso al meglio.
Avete la possibilità di aiutarci a completare quanto abbiamo iniziato e portato avanti per due anni, e a rendere omaggio a un grande pioniere, la cui storia merita di essere raccontata.
