The Mothership Orchestra's new song "Sometimes" 2016

The Mothership Orchestra is an indie rock band formed in Pozega, Western Serbia in August 2005. After few EP’s they released debut album “Song for You” in 2010 for indie label Ammonite Records. This album includes very successful singles “You’re Amazing”, “London Breeze” and “Dare”.

Their sound is characterized by orchestral backing, downtempo, British folk, dark cabaret and baroque pop. In addition to instrument mainstrays guitar, drums and bass guitar, members play violin, melodica, mandola, accordion, trumpet, flute, piano, bassoon, harmonica, cello, saxophone and double bass. They often compare band with legendary Tindersticks, Lamchop, The Waterboys as well as influential British folk acts such as Nick Drake, Fairport Convention and Pentangle.

The Mothership Orchestra decided to celebrate the beginning of the spring with a new single and music video for a song “Sometimes”. Author of the song is Lazar Sijak, while the beautiful orchestration arrangement is a work of IvanTrajkovicand IvanTesic. The band continues to release singles and music videos with an aim to gather and publish all of singles as an album later this year.
